Prominently displayed in the museum is a portrait of Maria Theresa (1717-1780), queen of Hungary 1740-1780 (Mária Terézia, magyar királynö). She was Archduchess of Austria, Queen of Hungary, Croatia, and and Bohemia, and a Holy Roman Empress. She helped unite the Hapsburg Monarchy. Her daughter, Marie Antoinette, was the famous queen of France who was guilliotined during the revolution.
